Resident in Counseling

Supporting Growth, Healing, and Lasting Change
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

Seeking counseling is a courageous step, and whether you're navigating a difficult season or simply longing for greater clarity, balance, and fulfillment, you don't have to do it alone.
As a Resident in Counseling, I am passionate about helping individuals and couples move beyond feeling stuck and create lives that feel more aligned with their values, goals, and relationships. I work with clients facing anxiety, perfectionism, grief, relationship challenges, eating disorders, and life transitions, offering a supportive space where healing and personal growth can take place.
Before pursuing a career in counseling, I spent more than a decade serving diverse communities through nonprofit and church leadership in the Charlottesville and Lynchburg areas. Those experiences deepened my appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit, and the complex challenges people encounter throughout life.
My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I believe lasting change occurs when we attend to the whole person—mind, body, and soul. Together, we will explore patterns that may be holding you back, strengthen your existing resources, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
I strive to create a counseling relationship built on trust, authenticity, and compassion. Drawing from evidence-based practices and a person-centered foundation, I tailor the counseling process to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety, working through grief, improving relationships, or pursuing personal growth, I am committed to helping you build a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
Outside of the counseling office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, reading, gardening, playing pickleball, and gathering around good food with family and friends.
