I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor experienced working with diverse populations in community mental health and private practice settings. For over 15 years I’ve been helping people just like you—people with anxiety and mood disorders and traumatic experiences. Together, we will explore your problems and identify your goals and values. Together, we will come up with a plan of action to help you tackle your problems and feel better.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but incorporate elements of Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), bilateral stimulation, exposure therapy, and parts work when appropriate. I’m fascinated by the discoveries being made about how the brain works and the effect on our emotions and behavior.
In my free time I enjoy reading, watching British crime dramas, and spending time at the beach. I enjoyed cooking in the past but now I prefer eating delicious food made by others.
