Emily Wingfield, LPC
Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Lynchburg. Over the past 8 years, Emily has worked with various ages and contexts providing mental health care including inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient counseling, crisis services, TDT services, IIHS, and parent coaching. Over the last 4 years, her experience has been primarily with children and adolescents. Her experience includes working with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, relationship/family conflicts, aggression/anger management, grief and loss, life transitions, and suicidal ideation. Emily’s approach to counseling is holistic and founded on a client-centered framework. She is passionate about supporting her clients in healing by empowering them and sitting alongside them in their journeys. Emily utilizes various techniques from evidence-based therapies and recently received training in infertility and reproductive loss.
