I believe we all strive for balance and wellness in our lives, and my role as a Resident in Counseling is to walk alongside you as we discover what that means for you. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can share openly, explore new perspectives, and take meaningful steps toward greater well-being.

I earned my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Lynchburg and bring with me a 20-year career in nursing. Now in the season of midlife, I draw not only from professional training but also from the richness of life experience. This allows me to approach counseling with deep compassion, perspective, and an understanding of how our physical, emotional, and relational well-being are all connected. I integrate person-centered, experiential, and existential approaches to help clients strengthen relationships, ease distress, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

Outside of work, I’m a mom to three sons, which has taught me patience, resilience, and joy. I spend as much time as possible outdoors—whether hiking, running, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature. I also treasure close connections with friends, which continually reminds me of the importance of community and support in living a meaningful life.
